About Süda
Süda is run by Süda AB, org. no. 559311-7228, Kungstensgatan 9, 114 25 Stockholm. Contact: suda@whatssuda.com.
1. Membership and Event Access
Süda is for people aged 23 and over, for reasons to do with alcohol and safety at our nights. Süda may make exceptions. Bring valid photo ID; the door may ask for it, and without it you may be turned away.
Membership gives access to Süda’s nights, but apart from the Resident membership’s guaranteed spot (section 2) it does not guarantee entry to every night. Each night requires an RSVP or a ticket, and places depend on availability.
Süda curates its program. Nights are announced as we go, and Süda doesn’t promise a set number of nights per month or quarter. Süda may change the schedule and content of nights; section 4 says what happens if a night is cancelled or the club pauses.
Süda may deny an application without giving a reason, but never on grounds that are discriminatory under Swedish law.
Table requests: members can ask for a table on the room map. Booking a table is free, but you save a card when you ask. A request is not a booking until we confirm it by e-mail, and we may decline it. You can cancel in the app free of charge up to 6 hours before the night starts. If you cancel a confirmed table later than that, or don’t come, we charge a no-show fee of 2 500 kr to the saved card. There is no fee if Süda cancels the night, if we can’t give you the table, or if the door turns you away for a reason that isn’t your fault. Table bookings are for a set date and have no right of withdrawal (Distance Contracts Act, chapter 2, section 11, point 10). Drinks are sold and paid for at the bar on the night by the venue’s company, which holds the alcohol licence. The venue may refuse service, for example without valid ID or to someone who is intoxicated; a table doesn’t give a right to be served.
2. Plans, Renewal and Cancellation
- Occasional: 550 kr per quarter, or 1 850 kr per year.
- Frequent: 350 kr per month, or 3 500 kr per year.
- Resident member: 1 200 kr per month, or 12 000 kr per year. Free entry to all Süda nights, special events included, and up to 10 friends free per night. When you RSVP, your place is kept even if the night sells out. That guarantee covers you and always stays within the venue’s permitted capacity; if we ever can’t keep it, we tell you as early as we can.
Every plan renews automatically for the same period (month, quarter or year) at the same price until you cancel.
Prices include 25% VAT. Ticket prices for each night are shown before you pay. Renewals are charged to the card you paid with.
You can cancel at any time under Profile → Cancel membership. It applies from the moment you send it, and we confirm it by e-mail: no more payments are taken. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and then it ends; the rest of that period is not refunded (this also applies to yearly plans). Changed your mind? You can undo the cancellation in your profile until then, and your membership carries on as before. If a payment is ever taken after you cancelled, we refund it.
Instead of cancelling, you can ask to pause your membership for 1 to 3 months.
3. Right of Withdrawal
Membership: you can withdraw from a new membership within 14 days of buying it. Use the “Withdraw from contract here” button in your profile, or e-mail suda@whatssuda.com (you may use the Swedish standard withdrawal form). We confirm your withdrawal by e-mail with the date and time. You get your money back within 14 days of telling us. If you asked for the membership to start right away when you paid, we deduct a share for the days you’ve had it (counted from the price of your period, so for a yearly plan from the year); otherwise you get the full amount back.
Automatic renewals continue the same membership and don’t give a new right of withdrawal; to stop them, cancel as described in section 2. If your membership has ended and you buy a new one, that is a new purchase with a new 14 days.
Tickets for a specific night (yours and your guests’) are leisure services on a set date and have no right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59), chapter 2, section 11, point 10.
4. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details never reach Süda.
If Süda cancels a night, paid tickets for it are refunded to your card.
If Süda holds no member night for 8 weeks in a row, or the club closes, you may cancel your membership and get back what you’ve paid for the time left of your period.
Otherwise, tickets are not refunded if you can’t come, and that includes guest tickets you remove. Please un-attend in the ticket e-mail so someone else can have the place.
Check that you receive a confirmation after paying. If it doesn’t arrive, contact us.
5. Code of Conduct
Members must help keep Süda inclusive, respectful and safe. You are responsible for your guests.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, violence or other crimes lead to immediate termination of membership without refund. For other breaches of these terms or the code of conduct, Süda may warn you or end the membership; if it ends, you get back what you’ve paid for the time left, unless the breach was serious.
Read the full code of conduct.
6. Liability
You take part in Süda’s nights at your own risk. Süda is not responsible for injuries, lost belongings or other incidents during nights, unless caused by Süda’s negligence or where Swedish law says otherwise.
7. Changes to These Terms
If we change these terms, we e-mail members at least 30 days before the change applies. If you don’t accept the change, you can cancel before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when the terms were last updated.
8. Complaints and Disputes
Contact us first at suda@whatssuda.com; we answer within 14 days.
If we can’t agree, you can turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. Süda follows ARN’s recommendations. Swedish law applies, and disputes can be taken to a Swedish general court.
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Süda handles your personal data under the GDPR. The data controller is Süda AB, org. no. 559311-7228 (see “About Süda” above).
1. What We Collect
- Your application: name, e-mail, mobile, birthday, Instagram, occupation, bio, who referred and vouched for you, and an express code and game score if you used one.
- Membership: plan, payments and receipts, RSVPs and tickets, when you checked in and out at the door, your e-mail and text preferences, and anything you write to us, such as a reason for cancelling.
- Your guests: the name, and the e-mail or mobile if you give them, of friends you add to a night. Only add people who are fine with it.
- Gig requests: artist name, contact person, e-mail, phone, city, genre, links to press kit and music, agency and dates.
- Staff notes: things like an approved age exception, or a note when guest tickets were used without the member at the door.
2. Why, and on What Legal Basis
- Handling your application and membership, tickets, the door and payments, so we can fulfil our agreement with you.
- Texts and e-mails about nights you’re booked for, and news about nights and the club. You can say no at any time, in every e-mail or in your profile. This is our legitimate interest in reaching members (direct marketing to existing customers).
- Keeping the nights safe, checking age and following up misuse of guest tickets. This is our legitimate interest.
- Bookkeeping, which the law requires.
3. Who Gets Your Data
Süda never sells your data. Only the people at Süda who need it (team, door staff and promoters for their own lists) can see it. To help you, for example when you contact us, an admin can open your member area in read-only mode for up to 30 minutes; nothing can be changed that way, and each time is logged. We use these service providers, who handle data on our behalf:
- Stripe: card payments. Stripe also acts on its own account for fraud prevention and its legal duties.
- Rule: e-mail.
- 46elks: text messages.
- Fly.io: hosting of this site, on servers in Stockholm.
Stripe and Fly.io are US companies, so data may be reached from the US. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s standard contractual clauses.
We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
4. How Long We Keep It
- Declined applications, or approved ones that were never paid: 6 months.
- Gig requests we said no to or have listened to: 12 months.
- Members: while you’re a member and up to 24 months after the membership ends, then it’s deleted. If you ask us to delete it (e-mail us, for example when you cancel), we remove everything except receipts: straight away if your membership has ended, otherwise when it ends.
- Receipts and payment records: 7 years after the end of the calendar year, as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act requires. They keep what the law asks for, such as your name, what you bought and the amount, also if you’ve asked us to delete your other data, and are used only for bookkeeping.
- Sent e-mails and texts: 6 months. Staff activity logs: 12 months. Error logs: 3 months.
- Backups: 7 days.
5. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
6. Your Rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, limit how we use it, object to how we use it on the basis of legitimate interest, and get the data you gave us in a portable format. E-mail suda@whatssuda.com. We answer within a month.
You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
7. Changes
We update this policy when we change how we handle data. Larger changes are e-mailed to members.
